Support Is a Design Decision: Creating Alignment at Home and in Business

Designers are deeply skilled at creating spaces that support their clients’ lives, yet many lack the time and space to create that same level of support for themselves. In this presentation, Sara explores the shift from striving for “work–life balance” to designing for alignment across mind, body, home, and business. Through the lens of intentional design and daily rhythms, this conversation names overwhelm as a shared experience among women in creative leadership and introduces a more sustainable way to expand capacity; both personally and professionally. Designers will leave with practical insights they can apply to their own routines and client work, along with a renewed perspective on what truly supports them and the clients they serve.
