Hey there…I’m Kate Bendewald. Interior designer, business mentor, and founder of Designer’s Oasis. I’ve helped 1000’s of interior designers build businesses rooted in clarity, creativity, and real profit—not burnout.

But I didn’t start out that way.

After years in corporate architecture, I launched my own design firm, hoping for more freedom and fulfillment. What I got instead was late nights, self-doubt, and burnout. I was creative, capable, and still unsure of how to run a business that supported my life goals.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to follow what everyone else was doing—and started designing a business as intentionally as I design for clients.

Today, I run a boutique design firm with unicorn clients, strong boundaries, and a business that supports my life (not the other way around). And through Designer’s Oasis, I help other interior designers do the same—with tools, coaching, and a supportive community that actually gets it.
